Extra information

Location

I am located at 'Studio North' in The Archives in Tottenham Hale.

The space facilitates both natural light and studio light options.

The closest tube stop is Tottenham Hale (Victoria Line, National Rail) with the location less that ten minutes walk away.

There is parking available nearby at the Tottenham Hale Retail Park if required.

I also offer on location shoots upon request. Please get in touch directly for details of this and to make any bookings.

Preparation

Give yourself plenty of time to get to the location of your shoot. I suggest arriving around 15 minutes early so you have a little time to get settled before we start.

Make sure you’re well rested, hydrated and fed before your shoot. You’ll look and feel much better.

Have a think ahead of time about your casting bracket and what you need from your shots. Coming in with a clear idea of this can help guide the session and get the most out of your shoot.

Clothes

Make sure you bring plenty of options to select from to your shoot.

The clothes you wear in your images need to represent you, so make sure to bring things you feel great in, but that also work well for your casting.

Bring along a variety of necklines and layers to play with. Block colours that flatter your skin tone are always a winner, but some patterns can bring a real flare to your images too.

For The Firefly or other creative portfolio sessions clothes that move well always look amazing, as well as more sleek looks that allow you to showcase your lines.

Hair and makeup

Keep your makeup simple. A very natural base look that you can build on later is always a great starting point.

We want to see what you really look like and celebrate your natural beauty, so avoid things like super heavy eyeliner or false lashes.

Make sure to bring along your make up for any retouches or changes needed.

A powder to take down any excess shine is an absolute must have.

Please avoid wearing fake tan.

We need to be able to see the colour and texture of your hair so avoid overly complicated styles. Hair down is a great place to start with long hair, and I suggest beginning with minimal products for my shorter haired folk.

It’s helpful to bring things along to change up your look as we go, so feel free to pack anything you might need such as curlers, straighteners or extra styling products.

You're welcome to change your facial hair during your shoot. Just make sure you bring along what you need and factor that time into your session.

Nerves

Feeling nervous about being on camera? You’re definitely not alone. I’ve worked with lots of people, both actors and not, who feel really nervous getting in front of the lens.

I completely understand that it can be a daunting thought, and will do my absolute best to make our shoot as relaxed and fun as possible.

Gallery and editing

Images take a little bit of time to process and sort after your shoot.

You will receive an online gallery within 3 working days of your shoot. You'll be able to create favourites lists and then send them directly over to me for editing once you're done choosing.

Please allow ten working days for your final edits to be returned.

If you need them more quickly you are able to order a rush edit, however this is at an extra fee and also depends on the current amount of availability I have for a faster turn around.

Additional edits can be purchased at £25 per image.

Please make sure to check the terms and conditions of your image use when booking in.
